On Monday, May 19th, the 7th grade swapped their school day for an unforgettable wildlife adventure at the Bronx Zoo! From playful gorillas to towering giraffes, every corner held a new surprise.
The Wild Asia Monorail was a major highlight, carrying students through lush landscapes where tigers lounged, rhinos roamed, and elephants grazed. It felt like a mini safari right in the heart of New York!
Students explored exhibits like the Reptile House, spotting slithering snakes and stealthy lizards, and wandered through the Butterfly Garden, surrounded by vibrant fluttering wings. Along the way, they learned about conservation and the crucial role zoos play in protecting endangered species.
By day's end, they returned with tired feet, wide smiles, and plenty of stories to share. This Bronx Zoo trip was truly a wild ride!
