Our Berry Hill fifth graders officially took their next big step during a beautiful Moving Up Ceremony held at Syosset High School! The ceremony kicked off with a lovely processional into the auditorium to "Canon in D," performed by our talented third and fourth-grade select orchestra students.

Graduates and guests heard inspiring words from Principal Wasserman, Syosset Board of Education Trustee Mr. Rotolo, and PTA Co-Presidents Mrs. Choi and Mrs. Fedorczak. The students filled the auditorium with music, beautifully singing "The Star-Spangled Banner," "Thank You for Being a Friend," and "High Hopes." Then came the moment everyone was waiting for: each fifth grader took the stage to receive their Certificate of Completion from their classroom teacher. The new middle schoolers proudly recessed out to "Pomp and Circumstance," played by the Berry Hill fourth-grade band.

A massive thank you to our incredible PTA for the gorgeous decorations, and to the Berry Hill faculty and staff for organizing such a memorable event. Congratulations to all of our graduates—we are so proud of you!
