Big Dreams Start Small: Berry Hill Hosts First-Ever K-5 Career Fair!

Clipboards, stethoscopes, and martial arts belts—oh my! Berry Hill Elementary School was buzzing with inspiration as we hosted our first-ever Career Fair for students in grades K-5.

Our youngest learners in grades K-2 enjoyed exclusive, in-classroom visits. They got a firsthand look into the worlds of dance, law enforcement, corporate leadership, and specialized medicine, hearing from dance instructors, police women, a marketing firm CEO, a gastroenterologist, a senior medical director, and a Tae Kwon Do instructor!

Meanwhile, our older students in grades 3-5 took on the Berry Hill Gym for a traditional career fair experience. Armed with clipboards and pencils, they independently explored a vast array of professions. Students interviewed community experts including a Vascular Surgeon, Urban Planner, Event Planner, Cardiologist, Doctor, Technology Sales Representative, Lawyer, Tae Kwon Do instructor, Band Manager, Artist, Entertainment Lawyer, and a Footwear Designer.

A massive THANK YOU to all of our incredible parent and community volunteers who donated their time to inspire the next generation! We also want to give a special shout-out to Berry Hill's Compact Committee—composed of dedicated teachers, parents, and Principal Wasserman—whose hard work and organization made this milestone event a massive success.
