Learn CAD from home!!

Two former Village students, who are currently at SWMS, have created a free online class for students with the recommended age of 7-12 to learn about CAD and how to design different structures in 3D. Ketan Raghu and Hudson Welfer made this class to give students a free opportunity to learn about an important part of STEM. They will be using a free to sign up online program called TinkerCAD which students can sign up to with a school or personal Google account. As of right now they are planning to use Zoom or Google Meets to interact with the students.

So far they have done this program with a group of 4th grade students and have had immense success so we are trying to reach out to more people and give more students an opportunity to learn about 3Dimensional design, and possibly spark an interest.
Currently, the first scheduled classes are on Friday, May 8th and Saturday, May 9th.
