February 5, 2020 is the 6th annual Global School Play Day for students in schools around the world. The grassroots effort focuses on brining awareness of the need for unstructured play time for children’s healthy development.
Baylis participated in the Global School Play Day. The day was kicked off by the staff putting on a play. Students were then able to play with their friends. They were able to use board games, card games, puzzles and so much more. Students danced to music, drew pictures, and used their imagination to play make believe. Students also had an opportunity to be with their grade during art and PE.
At the end of the day students reflected on their day. It was a day filled with memories and lots of fun.
