Breathe for Peace Students Practice Mindfulness Before Exams
Breathe for Peace students visited the Gooding Wellness Studio in Cold Spring Harbor to practice mindfulness before final exams. Breathe for Peace is a group that provides students with the opportunity to learn and practice mindfulness techniques such as breathing and visualization. Mindfulness practice is known to reduce stress and anxiety and enhance overall well-being. Breathe for Peace meets throughout the school year on Mondays in the Innovation Lab.
