HBT awarded “No Place for Hate” recognition by the Anti-defamation League (ADL) for three consecutive years!
For the third consecutive year, Harry B. Thompson Middle School was awarded “No Place for Hate” recognition by the Anti-defamation League (ADL). The school community at HBT worked in partnership with the ADL to build an inclusive and safe community by empowering students, faculty, and administration to take a stand against hate and bullying.
With help from the Peer Leadership Club and its advisors, Alison deLauzon and Linnee Snyder, HBT implemented programs to promote the powerful message of acceptance and respect for all. In completing the requirements as a “No Place for Hate” school, along with other school wide initiatives, HBT is making sure that all students have a place to belong.
