The third graders culminated their geography unit with a trip to the Long Island Children's Museum. They dug deep and took a closer look at the science of cartography. The third graders explored geography in two hands-on exhibits and learned the tricks of the mapping trade. They used that information to create a treasure map in an interactive workshop for their teachers to find!
While at the museum, the third graders explored so many different scientific things like bubbles, engineering, communication, and they even got to climb!
