Four Syosset High School Students Named Regeneron Scholars

Four Syosset High School seniors were named 2019 Scholars in the Regeneron Science Talent Search (Regeneron STS) competition, including Thomas Lam (who was also named a finalist), Serena Lee, Spencer Pugach and Michael Wang. The Regeneron STS is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious pre-college science competition. Students are selected based upon their scientific research and on their overall potential as future leaders of the scientific community. These students were selected from 1,964 entries nationwide and will receive a $2,000 award with an additional $2,000 going to the high school. Thomas was one of only 40 students to be named a finalist. Congratulations to all four students on this impressive achievement.
