November 2024 Washington, D.C. Registration and Information

Our 8th Grade Trip to Washington, D.C. will take place this fall on November 13th, 14th and 15th, 2024. If you are interested in having your child attend this trip, the information is as follows: 

 

This trip will cost $850.00 per student.  This price includes:

 

  • two nights lodging (four students per room)

  • two buffet breakfasts, two lunches, two dinners 

  • luxury Coach bus transportation

  • tour guides

  • admission to all museums, historical sites and tours

  • overnight security

 

We are working with Gerber Tours to develop an itinerary to include Capitol Hill, Smithsonian Museums, many monuments and memorials, Holocaust Museum, National Air and Space Museum, African American Museum and Arlington National Cemetery (Changing of the Guard, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, etc).

 

An initial deposit of $150.00 is required to make a reservation for the trip. For your convenience, registration and payment will be done directly through Gerber Tours online.  See attached for registration instructions. Please do this on or before June 1st, 2024. Gerber Tours is offering cancelation insurance which all participants are strongly encouraged to purchase.   Please note that this cost, along with the $150.00 registration fee collected by Gerber Tours is non-refundable.

 

Students have the option to participate in a fundraiser between May 10th and June 10th, 2024.  The individual fundraising profit will be applied directly to the cost of your child's trip and deducted from their online Gerber Tour account.  Information regarding the fundraiser will be provided to all participants.

As a reminder, registration for our 8th grade trip to Washington, D.C. is now open. An initial non-refundable deposit of $150.00 is required by June 1st to make a reservation for the trip. Upon registration, you will be given the option to purchase travel insurance. We urge you to read through the policy carefully and consider taking the highest level of insurance. While the cost of insurance is non-refundable, it alleviates any concerns for the unexpected and is strongly encouraged. Please visit the

We will be hosting an optional virtual Washington, D.C. information session for parents at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, June 5th. A Google Meet link will be sent out the day prior.
