The 6^th grade enrichment workshop was honored with a grant of $2,500 for winning the Long Island Regional Planning Council's "Long Island Water Quality Challenge." As a part of their proposal to conserve and improve water on Long Island, a native plant garden will be created in the South Woods' Courtyard. Groundbreaking is scheduled for Spring, 2024. This group of students were among the youngest groups to ever win this prestigious award.
