On Friday, March 12, 2021, Syosset teams, HBT Pythons and SW SYO-Code competed in their first virtual Hackathon against 14 other districts across Long Island. Both teams were a mix of in person and virtual students and they did not let their setting impact their team strategies and competitive game play. Both SW and HBT climbed to the top of the leaderboard early on and held strong throughout the competition for over two hours. The last 30 minutes of the competition were intense, knocking a few teams off the map. HBT and SW placed 2nd and 3rd., respectively.
