OZOBOTS! 3rd Graders Used Coding To Enhance Their Knowledge of the Museum of Natural History!

For the month of May, 3rd grade students were introduced to Ozobots in the library.  Ozobots are robots that perform different maneuvers by using optical sensors to detect color code.  To coincide with a field trip to the Museum of Natural History, students were encouraged to create a tour of various exhibits in the museum.  Each pair of students designed their own tour of the Museum of Natural History.  Under the guidance of Mr. Ras, students focused on incorporating a variety of Ozobot commands using special markers and a reference sheet.  Students were able to engage in a hands on learning experience that used coding to enhance their knowledge of the Museum of Natural History!
