On May 31st, the A.P. Willits Compact for Learning Committee hosted the 7th annual Willits University Day! This day allowed the students to select courses/workshops in areas of personal interest. Community members, local businesses, faculty members and parents presented workshops in an area that they have prior expertise, bringing a unique perspective to the students. The students had the opportunity to attend two workshops on topics including, Lego Robotic Coding, American Sign Language, Tae Kwon Do, Soccer, Travel: Planning a Dream Vacation, Brain Games, Food & Nutrition, Careers with Numbers, Fitness Fanatics, and much more! This event allowed students to enhance their regular academic curriculum with stimulating and engaging workshops. All students and presenters enjoyed this special day at Willits!
