Syosset High School offers Driver's Education courses three times per year.

In order to register for Driver's Ed, student's must pick up registration and information forms outside of Driver's Education Office (SHS Room B-5a). Look for the driver's education bulletin board. In order to be permitted to participate in Driver's Ed, students must have a learner's permit. 

Forms are made available:
For the fall Session, the first or second day of school 
For the Spring session, after Christmas vacation
For the Summer session, around Memorial Day 

Registration forms must be returned to the same location before the registration period ends. Dates are made available each year.

Fall	September to December/January
Spring	February to May/June
Summer	July to August (same as Summer school schedule)

Students are accepted into driver's education in birth order (Seniors first). Under no circumstances are sophomores accepted into driver's education.
