• 1734 INTRODUCTION TO VIDEO PRODUCTION

    This course is designed to teach students the different aspects of video production: camera technique, lighting, editing, screenplay development, directorial style, etc. Instruction takes place in a project-based learning environment and class sessions will focus on the principles of videography and “hands-on” training. Students will write, storyboard, shoot, and edit short video projects. In order to produce original digital content, students will also be trained in professional editing software. The course teaches real-world skills in visual perspectives, meeting deadlines, communication, teamwork, and working with professional technology.
