The Adelettes and Choral Pride are continuing the beloved tradition of Valentine’s Day Singing Telegrams! We will be selling the telegrams for $5 in the cafeteria from February 10th to February 13th. For just $5, you can surprise a friend, teacher, or special someone with a live serenade!
The baseball program will be having a meeting after school on Wednesday February 26th in Tech room S2. Anyone who plans to tryout in the spring should attend. Any questions see Coach Morritt in the Tech office.

This Friday, February 14th is PS I Love You Day. Show support for mental health by wearing purple on that day. The Awareness Club and S.A.V.E. will be having a table in the cafeteria with activities and notes of positivity. Please stop by! See you then and thank you for your support.

Congratulations to senior Lauren Whitley for winning FIRST place in Poetry Out Loud last Friday at Stony Brook University. This means Lauren will represent Long Island at the state championship to be held in March.

congratulations to the girls varsity fencing team on a historic win claiming their first-ever Nassau County Championship in Syosset history! Shoutout to the playoff team: Esha Nayak, Alexa Lim, Sophie Wang, Erin Choi, Thea Chen, Rita Yan, Monique Jin, Miki Fu, Autumn Trieu, Maya Funatomi, Rhea Sood, Chloe Lin, and Amanda Weng.

Congratulations to our Forensics team who competed this past weekend in Stanford University's international online tournament in speech and debate which was attended by 700 schools. Congratulations to award winners Reyna Talasazzan, Sophia Staller, Robert Liu Meng and special top honors to Savir Peri for finishing 3rd and FIRST place winner Ella D'Auria.
Congratulations to the Syosset Model UN team on their conference at Boston University this past weekend. Competing among 2,500 delegates from over 100 schools across the country and 4 from outside the US, Zach Brivio, Ethan Schwarz, and Juha Kim each earned awards in their respective committees, an incredible achievement. Well done to the entire team! Their next competition will be at Port Washington in March.

Congratulations to the girls varsity gymnastics team on their win against South Side last Wednesday, concluding their regular meet season. Ilana Slade got 1st on vault, 1st on bars, and 2nd on floor, Reese Kaufman got 3rd on bars and 1st in the all around, Tea Alexandru got 2nd on beam, Sophia Bahiri got 1st on bars, Leah Chin got 2nd on vault, 1st on beam, and 1st on floor, and Vanessa Frullo got 3rd on beam and 2nd in the all around. Come cheer on the girls who are competing in the state qualifiers this Tuesday at Syosset High School and come watch the team this Thursday at Plainview High School as they compete to defend their team county title!
The Crochet & Knit Club will be selling crochet bears, flower bouquets, and roses after school today through Wednesday!

Join the 'Valentines for Veterans' initiative by crafting heartfelt Valentine's Day cards filled with gratitude and admiration. Materials can be collected near the library tech desk. Remember, tomorrow is the last day to submit your cards. All Completed cards will be delivered to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6394 in Syosset. Plus, earn community service hours while spreading love and support to our heroes. Get involved and make a difference! Make sure to submit the form by scanning the QR code for community service hours.!

The Awareness Club is having a pizza sale today, Monday, February 3 after school in the student lobby. Please come and buy a slice of pizza for $3. Proceeds will go to the P.S. I Love You Day foundation which addresses issues related to suicide prevention and mental health. The Awareness Club is also meeting today after school in room D8. All are welcome to join. We are organizing activities and promotion for PS I Love You Day on Friday, February 14.

The Awareness Club will be meeting today, Monday, December 16 after school in Room D8. We will be making holiday and get well cards for children in hospitals! All are welcome to join.
Congratulations to the Girl Varsity Gymnastics Team on their win last Wednesday against Garden City with a team score of a 170.3. On vault, Reese Kaufman placed 3rd with a 8.1, Arlene Osei placed 2nd with a 8.2, and Ilana Slade placed 1st with a 8.3. On bars, Arlene Osei placed 3rd with a 7.95, Ilana Slade placed 2nd with a 8.2, and Vanessa Frullo placed 1st with a 9.3. On beam, Vanessa Frullo placed 3rd with a 8.55, Tea Alexandru placed 2nd with a 8.85, and Leah Chin placed 1st with a 9.45. On floor, Vanessa Frullo placed 3rd with a 9.3, Ilana Slade placed 2nd with a 9.4, and Leah Chin placed 1st with a 9.5. In the all around, Reese Kaufman placed 2nd with a 32.0 and Vanessa Frullo placed 1st with a 35.25. Come cheer the girls on at their next meet this Tuesday against Plainview at Jamaica Avenue!

Join us this week as the C-pop Dance Group under Chinese Culture Society hosts a Chinese snack sale! We'll be offering delicious treats including WangLaoJi herbal tea, spicy snack bars, and chips. Look for us in front of the lobby after school today and Friday. Come support our group and enjoy some tasty Chinese snacks!
The Ski and Ride group has added a third overnight trip for the weekend of March 29. We are headed to Sugarbush Mountain! There will be an important meeting tomorrow December 13 immediately after school in the west cafeteria. Forms for this trip will be handed out!
The premedical society will have a mandatory meeting today in the cafeteria. We will be making holiday cards for the organization Cards for Hospitalized Kids, and you can earn volunteer hours. Bring your creativity with you!
