Good Morning, today is Thursday, February 2nd , Ground Hog Day, and today is a white day.
Please stand and join me in the Pledge of Allegiance.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the
Republic, for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Come support the boys swimming and diving team today at eisenhower park as they attempt to win their 8th consecutive division title. Good Luck Braves!
The Ski and Ride group had their first trip this past weekend. There were a ton of laughs, great conditions, and lots of fun at the mountain. Join us on our overnight trip to Vermont March 4th and 5th. Forms can be picked up and dropped off outside of Mr.Silverman's Office D14A
We are happy to announce that the Junior Class spring Fling is happening this year on March 3rd from 7-10 at the high school. The Junior class officers are looking forward to seeing everyone there. There are still tickets available-see your Junior class officers or Mrs. Balducci for more details or to buy a ticket.
The Technology Expo will be held in the student lobby this monday periods 4 through 8. Stop by to learn about the different clubs and classes that utilize computers and tech at SHS.
Today for lunch is Chicken Lo Mein and Turkey Chef Salad with Pear and Roasted Red Potatoes
Finally, you may want to know, the Groundhog saw his shadow and there will be six more weeks of winter!!!Have a great day.

The Sports Analytics club is pleased to be hosting guest speaker Eric Winston, former NFL player and Chief Partnership Officer of One Team, on Wednesday February 1st in the little theater. Mr. Winston spent 12 years in the NFL and spent 3 terms as the NFLPA president. All are welcome to come down and participate in the talk! Mandatory National Honor Society meeting TODAY, Wednesday, February 1st, immediately after school in the East Cafeteria. Attendance will be taken!
The varsity gymnastics team continues their undefeated season 8-0 by defeating South Side with the final score 175 to 166. Rebecca Millevoi and Sophie Weiskopf tied for first place on Vault with an 8.9.
Leah Chin placed first on bars with a 9.2, beam with a 9.4, and floor with a 9.2. Cami Platt came in 1st in the All-Around and 2nd on vault with an 8.85 and second on floor with a 8.9. Come support the Seniors at their senior meet against Port Washington tonight at 6:00 at South Grove. Go Braves!
