The Advanced Aquatics class will begin with a review of the correct form for all swimming strokes in which each student will have the opportunity to evaluate his/her form. Workouts will be given to improve individual personal fitness and skill development. Basic aquatic skills, starts and turns, lifetime fitness activities, principles of aquatic training and hydrodynamics will be included in the course content. The basics of the American Red Cross Water Safety Program will also be taught in which students may have the opportunity to assist in the teaching of other students.
