STEM Students Learn Through Creation

  • Students in first grade grade show their innovation skills as they build their symmetrical skeletons based off their interpretation of Bonaparte Falls Apart, by Margery Cuyler.  After students listened to the story, they used Play-doh©, Q-Tips©, and a template and worked together to form a symmetrical skeleton based on their knowledge of "Line of Symmetry."  Also pictured are students working collaboratively to build an asymmetrical "domino" line.
