Back to School 2019-2020
Dear Senior Student and Parents,
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you back for what promises to be another outstanding school year. We are eagerly awaiting your return to school from what I trust was a pleasant summer vacation spent with friends and family.
Your 2019-20 student schedule is now available on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Please read through this email in its entirety for some very important announcements and information.
On Tuesday, August 27 we will have our Senior Picnic from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Due to the construction projects at the High School, the Senior Picnic will take place at H.B. Thompson Middle School. During this time you will have the opportunity to pick up your Senior Spirit Wear, get your parking stickers, have lunch with friends, and paint the “Seniors 2020 Mural”. In order to get your parking sticker at the Senior Picnic, you will need a Class “D” Driver’s License, your vehicle’s registration card, and you must pay a $5.00 fee.
The new school year will begin by bringing the Senior Class together for the Senior Class Picture. On Tuesday, September 3 show your Senior Spirit and meet us in the Main Gym at 7:00 a.m. where we will take the class photo.
Be advised that all students MUST wear their identification badge and lanyard around their neck at all times while in school. Students should wear the same ID badges from last year. If you need a replacement, please go to the library during your lunch period. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Congratulations on entering your senior year in high school. It will be a busy year and one in which you will have many important decisions to make. Keep working diligently and make sure that your attendance record is excellent. With your cooperation we can ensure that this will be an outstanding and enjoyable year for all.
