Anti-Bias Task Force
The Board is committed to making Syosset an inclusive District where everyone feels safe, everyone is treated with dignity, and differences are celebrated. On November 27, 2023, the Syosset Board of Education voted to establish an Anti-Bias Task Force to seek input on matters related to bias as the District develops an anti-bias plan.
The members of the task force are volunteers from a cross-section of individuals who represent the diversity of our school District. You can see a full list of members, as well as their affiliations, at this link.
Below you will find a summary of the work of the Anti-Bias Task Force, including their final recommendations to the Board of Education.
