Syosset District staff is happy to support our parents and guardians and provide valuable resources to contribute to student success. We have recently expanded our community connections through a partnership with Northwell Mental Health to streamline interventions for students in need and family/individual counseling services. In addition, this partnership provides immediate crisis support for students and families as well as an array of professional development opportunities for staff. The new National Suicide Prevention Line is 9-8-8. Call or text to be connected with The Long Island Crisis Center. This three digit lifeline will connect you to the appropriate resources for any mental health distress, not just suicide prevention. The line also has interpretation services for over 150 languages.
