Syosset High School Theatre Arts Program presents Tina Howe's Museum, a play about communication, art and its meaning. Museum takes place on the final day of a major museum exhibit of three fictional contemporary American artists. Over the course of the day, some forty people walk through the show: art lovers, skeptics, foreigners, students, lost souls, fellow artists, and of course, museum guards. The play is about the movement and yearning of these people.

For this fall's contemporary show, the Theatre Arts Program is collaborating with SHS' chapter of the National Art Honor Society to support their primary charity, The Memory Project - Portraits of Kindness (https://www.memoryproject.org/). The Memory Project is a charitable nonprofit organization that invites art teachers, art students, and solo artists to help cultivate global kindness by creating portraits for children around the world who have faced substantial challenges, such as violence, war, extreme poverty, neglect, and loss of parents to help them feel valued and important, to know that many people care about their well-being, and to provide a special childhood memory.

Performances will take place Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $7 for general admission. A portion of the ticket price will be donated to The Memory Project.
