Walt Whitman Elementary School students had the opportunity to circle around the globe from the comforts of their gymnasium during the school’s International Fair. Parent volunteers created and manned stations representing different countries and cultures from all over the world.  Parents served as “flight attendants” as the students rotated from station to station, learning about the history and customs from each country. Students participated in yoga while visiting India, played maracas in Mexico and learned what it’s like to be a Viking in Denmark.
